PARTNERS IN INNOVATION:

Building Tomorrow’s Church Today

Partners in Innovation is a convergence of people and organizations committed to providing the environment, encouragement, resources and support for the emergence of the Adventist Church of the future in North America. It is about helping people experience the transforming power of faith when it is engaged in discovering God’s designs and purposes for the future of the Church. It is a multi-dimensional partnership that sponsors research and development, and provides inspiration, ideas, training, and resources for those engaged in creating a new century Adventism.

Overview

Adventism is at its best when it is a thriving community of faith that faithfully represents the principles of the Kingdom of God on earth, while anticipating the Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Church moves into the future as the healthy, vibrant “Body” that God dreams for it to be, then our own dreams for the church will also have been fulfilled. The future of Adventism in North America is dependent on our ability to identify and develop communities of people who will be carriers of faith into the complex world of the future.

Partners in Innovation, with the Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as one of its primary partners, proposes to address this need by advancing the conversation about the church of the future and by fostering research and development of replicable models that connect people with God, with each other, and with their communities. Creating a compelling view of tomorrow’s opportunities and moving preemptively to secure the future require intentional effort. Partners in Innovation provides individuals and organizations the opportunity to guide, shape, and resource this futuristic vision.
